How to Embrace Your Own Ideas
Today’s blog concerns the issue of how to love your own ideas and not compare yourself to others. This is a partnership with confidence because it involves belief in yourself and your creation. Everyone compares themselves to a friend or a colleague of their every once in a while thinking the other person has a perfect life or is at least better off. Remember: you are comparing yourself to a perception. You only see the positive things you wish you had, but in reality, their true selves could be tumultuous and you may not have any clue how hard they have to work for their successes you see as ease. It is true there are healthy levels of comparison. This statement may seem contradictory but essentially it means that if you are comparing yourself to someone else in order to push yourself to a higher standard so you can expand and heighten your own goals, go for it. It is when you are pushing yourself to “beat” someone at the same goal when the comparisons become unhealthy. There is only one you so embrace everything YOU are rather than everything someone else is because YOUR ideas feed YOUR goal and NO one else’s. Oscar Wilde once said, “In order to succeed, you have to be the best you.. every one else is already taken.” How will you choose to implement these wise words in your trek to embody a Kupugani world changer?
