Friday in the Life of Kupugani Girls
Hey there, Camp Kupugani parents! What a fantastic day we had at camp today. Our campers were up bright and early, ready to tackle the day with enthusiasm. After cabin clean-up, we gathered for our morning circle where we shared a powerful quote from Brene Brown about setting boundaries and self-love. Then, it was time to fuel up with some delicious bagels and fresh scrambled eggs for breakfast.
The morning was packed with team-building activities that had everyone laughing and working together. From the energetic “Zip Zap Zop” to the challenging “Hula Hoop Pass,” our campers were fully engaged. Afterwards, they enjoyed some free time during recess before lunch. The afternoon kicked off with a well-deserved siesta, giving everyone a chance to recharge.
Then, it was time for the much-anticipated camptivities! Some kids tried their hand at disc golf, while others went fishing or got creative with tie-dye in arts and crafts. The second camptivity session offered even more options, including recreation, rock climbing, and the always-exciting crate stacking.
Evening Fun and Looking Ahead
As the day wound down, we gathered for Miss Natasha’s mouth-watering BBQ chicken dinner. The evening activities were a hit, with the older campers participating in Four Corners and the younger campers in a lively Gaga tournament.
Back at the cabins, everyone got ready for bed and participated in an appreciation circle, sharing kind words about their fellow campers. The excitement was palpable as we announced tomorrow’s theme: Pajama Day!
As the lights went out, the camp fell quiet, filled with tired but happy campers. What adventures will tomorrow bring, and how will your child make the most of another day at Camp Kupugani?
