Another Marvelous Monday
On this bright and sunny Monday, the campers started off the day all together for morning circle. For breakfast, we had pancakes, sausage and some delicious fruit! Cabins did their daily chores before splitting off into teams to do some team building activities and reflective discussions. After teams, the campers enjoyed recess on top field, with a chance to hang out with those in different cabins and play some games (or make up their own)! For lunch we had Sloppy Joes (or Jolenes) and then headed to Siesta for our midday rest. The campers then chose their camptivities and got to go bike riding, do some hair, and begin painting the session’s bench. Our thirteen, fourteen, and fifteen year olds left for their overnight trips. The thirteen year olds went camping in our Pine Forest; the fourteen year olds went caving; and the fifteen year olds went canoeing.Dinner was Miss Natasha’s delicious Sweet and Sour Chicken! It was a big hit among the campers and staff alike. The evening activity was our special s’mores campfire! The campers enjoyed a s’more and some quality time with their friends and cabin mates before heading off to West Village to get ready for bed and rest up for tomorrow. Overall, it was another great day here at Camp Kupugani!
