A Super Saturday at Blended Two
On this Super Saturday, the counselors and campers played a closely contested match in the staff vs. campers soccer game. The staff took an immediate lead, but couldn’t hold onto it as the campers (led by multiple players who clearly had some skills) tied it up soon thereafter. In the second part of the game, the campers took the lead 2-1, and held off the counselors’ desperate efforts (even assisted by the “wild card” referee) to tie the game. Fabulous Friday at Blended One!
We started off the day by waking up in the cabins after a good night’s sleep. Everyone was up by 7 to shower, brush their teeth, and get dressed for the day before heading to morning circle. For breakfast we had English muffins, bacon, and eggs. Later we enjoyed recess time just after the conflict resolution modules. After our Siesta, the afternoon camptivities began! Everyone, except for our early bird campers, was up by 7 to shower, brush their teeth, and get dressed for the day before heading to the morning circle. Wonderful Wednesday at Camp!
Life at Camp On this Wonderful Wednesday, our early birds woke up at 6 am for a session of sweat and swim. For breakfast we enjoyed some French Toast and turkey sausages. After breakfast, we broke off into teams and discussed the importance of using “I” statements rather than “you” statements. A Great Start to Blended Session One 2023!
Today we welcomed our wonderful campers through a drive-through check in. They were greeted by Kevin, got their cabin assignments, and checked in any meds with the nurse. After the campers said goodbye to their families, we took them to their cabins to get settled in.
