Fun At KupuOlympics
Today was Kupu-Olympics Day! The campers had s a great time doing a variety of activities that were judged in 4 categories. Spunk, ‘Spect, Spirit, and Sportsmanship. Each team came up with a team chant and represented their colors of blue or red. Half the camp was on the red team and half the camp on blue. The first activity was all-camp gaga, with the red team taking a slight lead overall. The next activity was a relay race including a 3-legged race, a potato sack race, and a slip-n-slide (with counselor Luke setting the camp record by sliding all the way–about 60 feet!) After a quick La Tienda Break, the campers broke into the next set of activities. Mud Volleyball and tug of war. After a bit of dam jumping to wash off the mud, the campers headed up to dinner. Enchiladas satisfied the camper’s hunger. A good way to end off the second to last day of camp!
