The day kicked off with a twist as we sang our “Goodnight” song at the morning community gathering. Can you imagine the giggles that erupted? Then, we dove into a hearty dinner of chicken and waffles to fuel up for the day’s activities. The kids were buzzing with excitement, especially about the upcoming Untalent Show. Yes, you read that right – Untalent!
Flipping the Script on Team Activities
After breakfast, our campers tackled some unique team challenges. They played “All Aboard” and “Ecosystem Word Association,” but the highlight was definitely “Tarp Flip.” It was hilarious watching them work together to flip a tarp while standing on it! The counselors made sure to debrief after each activity, encouraging the kids to reflect on their experiences. Following these brain-teasers, the campers enjoyed some free time before a delicious lunch of sloppy joes and berries!!
Wrapping Up a Backwards Day
The afternoon was packed with exciting camptivities like biking, swimming, and fishing. Some lucky campers even got to go horseback riding! As the day wound down, everyone prepared for the much-anticipated Untalent Show and dance. It was heartwarming to see the kids showcase their “untalents” with such confidence and humor. The campers had a confusing but fulfilling dinner of breakfast items such as pancakes, eggs and cereal. In conclusion, Backwards Day was a roaring success, filled with laughter, learning, and lasting memories. It’s amazing to see how these unique experiences help our campers grow and bond. So, parents, what backwards activity do you think your child enjoyed the most?
