Sunday Fun with Camp Songs and Skits
Hello Everyone!
We’ve been continuing to enjoy warm sunny days at camp, and are currently enjoying a nice Monday morning. Looking back, Sunday morning was kicked off with campers arriving to a lazy breakfast with their cabin flags. They were able to sleep in a bit and enjoy a wonderful assortment of donuts, cereal, milk and orange juice at their leisure. The afternoon entailed relaxing cabin hikes and picnic lunches under a warm sunny day. Each cabin group was tasked with creatively composing a cabin song and skit to be performed later in the Rec Hall. Some of the skits included hilarious imitations of camp staff. The senior campers in Cabin Angelou had a popularly received song, with their cool camp rendition of Sister Sledge’s “We are Family.” Cabin Angelou campers taught the new camp song to all the campers and they trotted off down the trail to bed singing “We are Kupugani. I have all my sisters with me.”
We look forward to your camper serenading you with the song at home!
