A Fun Start to Our Second Girls Session!

We started off Girls 2 with a potluck, a tour, and a welcome circle. After we got settled into the cabins and the parents left we had an introductory circle before going to the dining hall for dinner. We had spaghetti for dinner. After dinner we played large group games. Then we had a campfire. Then we went to the cabins, we made our cabin flags, and came up with some cabin rules, then we went to bed.

We woke up Monday morning to some refreshing sprinkling rain. But by the time we got to our morning circle the rain had stopped. After morning circle we had breakfast; muffins all the way from England, eggs, and cereal. After breakfast we did our camp chores. Yay clean bathrooms! Then we dismissed into a team. After our team activities we played a few games of all camp gaga before a lunch of barbeque beef. After lunch we had a short siesta. Then we had our swim evaluations. Then after swim evaluations we did La Tienda, then we had a pool party. After that we went to the cabin to change. Then we had dinner. After dinner we had an evening activity of diversity show and tell. A great full first day!

Kupugani touches on all the core values and enrichment that we hope to instill in our [child]. My husband and I absolutely love Camp Kupugani. Our [child] gained immensely from camp.

Everyone…was just so, so personable, kind, and the kind of person I want
my [child] looking up to and spending time with.

[My daughter’s] face lights up when she speaks about camp, it’s a priceless experience.

I have never come in contact with such a wonderful group of people at a camp before. Everyone did an outstanding job, the camp was so organized, it was unbelievable.

Joe M.

She absolutely loves the camp, the staff, and all the friends she makes there. I consider Kupugani to be a big influence in helping her grow and expand her mind each summer.
