A Good Thursday with the Girls

On this Terrific Thursday, the campers woke up and headed down to morning circle/breakfast. After some camp chores, the campers broke into their teams to do trust activities including lineups and hula hoop pass, which worked on establishing communication and trust. After teams, they did a Nature Search and Swatch, seeking a variety of things in nature. A lunch of all-beef hot dogs satisfied the camper’s hunger. After Siesta, the campers did their first and second camptivities–again by cabin cohort in keeping with our week 1 COVID protocols. Dinner today was delicious hamburgers, with locally-sourced beef from a nearby farm. After our evening activity of 4-Word Build, we had our second campfire of the session with friendship song activities. Another great day at girls camp!

Kupugani touches on all the core values and enrichment that we hope to instill in our [child]. My husband and I absolutely love Camp Kupugani. Our [child] gained immensely from camp.

Everyone…was just so, so personable, kind, and the kind of person I want
my [child] looking up to and spending time with.

[My daughter’s] face lights up when she speaks about camp, it’s a priceless experience.

I have never come in contact with such a wonderful group of people at a camp before. Everyone did an outstanding job, the camp was so organized, it was unbelievable.

She absolutely loves the camp, the staff, and all the friends she makes there. I consider Kupugani to be a big influence in helping her grow and expand her mind each summer.
