A Nice Cabin Sunday

We woke up Sunday morning on top field after spending a gorgeous night under the stars. We went to the dining hall and had a “lazy breakfast” before heading back up to the cabins to switch our bunks. After switching beds we had our community gathering circle. Then we took group photos. We then went on a short hike to arrive at our picnic lunch location. After we ate, we worked on our cabin skits and songs. Then we headed to our cabins to have a little cabin time/dance party. After that we had La Tienda then we headed down to the flats for some mud volleyball, dam jumping, and waterfall play. We then went back to our cabins for cabin cleaning before going to the dining hall for some delicious Mimmo’s pizza! After dinner we did our skits and our songs, then “recreation 911s”, with our campers enjoying some skill and play development of choice with their counselors, including Spanish with Dan, origami, and “draw-ring” with Merlin. The seniors then had a “spa night”, while the rest of us headed back to the cabin for some quiet activities before bed. A nice cabin Sunday indeed!

Kupugani touches on all the core values and enrichment that we hope to instill in our [child]. My husband and I absolutely love Camp Kupugani. Our [child] gained immensely from camp.

Everyone…was just so, so personable, kind, and the kind of person I want
my [child] looking up to and spending time with.

[My daughter’s] face lights up when she speaks about camp, it’s a priceless experience.

I have never come in contact with such a wonderful group of people at a camp before. Everyone did an outstanding job, the camp was so organized, it was unbelievable.

She absolutely loves the camp, the staff, and all the friends she makes there. I consider Kupugani to be a big influence in helping her grow and expand her mind each summer.
