A Terrific Tuesday at Girls Camp

On this Terrific Tuesday, after waking up and eating a breakfast of English Muffins (“muffins all the way from England!), the campers broke into their team groups. Today in teams, we started our initiatives which involve trust falls, Willow in the Wind, and Yurt Circles. They also played fun and funny games like “mafia” and “frogger” to pass the time before lunch. Lunch today was delicious comfort food of grilled cheese and chili–perfect for a temperate day weather-wise. The campers also got to choose their two camptivities for the afternoon, interspersed with La Tienda time to grab a treat from the camp store and hang out. After a dinner of tacos, the campers slid into the evening activity. This evening, we did 9-square, Gaga, and sand volleyball in Top Field with the whole camp. We also had our Smores campfire–always a difficult choice whether to go full flame with one’s marshmallow, or to rotate golden brown. A great way to end Day 10!

Kupugani touches on all the core values and enrichment that we hope to instill in our [child]. My husband and I absolutely love Camp Kupugani. Our [child] gained immensely from camp.

Everyone…was just so, so personable, kind, and the kind of person I want
my [child] looking up to and spending time with.

[My daughter’s] face lights up when she speaks about camp, it’s a priceless experience.

I have never come in contact with such a wonderful group of people at a camp before. Everyone did an outstanding job, the camp was so organized, it was unbelievable.

She absolutely loves the camp, the staff, and all the friends she makes there. I consider Kupugani to be a big influence in helping her grow and expand her mind each summer.
