Another Good Day at Camp
It was a lovely morning on Monday. Cool enough for a hoodie, but not cold. We started our day with our morning circle. After that, we had pancakes for breakfast. Then we headed off to do our camp chores before regrouping for teams. In teams, we did a couple fun activities–Ingredients for Friendship, and My Circle of Support.
Walnut Grove
After teams, we headed down to Walnut Grove for free-to-learn. During free to learn, some played musical instruments; some played cards, and some did other things. After that, we had lunch, Miss Natasha’s great sloppy joes! And then siesta. After that we had an afternoon full of camptivities. For the first camptivity, there was a choice of pool, tie-dye, challenge hike, fishing, archery, sand volleyball, and rock climbing. After first camptivity, we had La Tienda and then another camptivity. For the second camptivity offered was: canoeing, archery, biking, gaga, pool, tie-dye, and 9-square. After that we had dinner, chicken nuggets! And then an evening activity where we did sing-offs and a giant ninja tournament before settling down for bed. It was a relatively quiet night tonight because all our older children are off on their trips.
