Blended Two Kupu-Olympics!
Today was Kupu-Olympics Day! The campers had a great time doing a variety of activities that were judged in 4 categories: Spunk, ‘Spect, Spirit, and Sportsmanship. Each team came up with a team chant and did their face paint. Half the camp was on the red team and half the camp was on blue. The first activity was all camp gaga and the red team took the slight lead overall. The next activity was a relay race that included a 3-legged race, a potato sack race, and a slip-n-slide. After a quick LaTienda break, the campers broke into the next set of activities–mud volleyball and tug of war. After a bit of dam jumping to wash off the mud, the campers headed up to dinner. Enchiladas satisfied the camper’s hunger. The evening entailed a Sing Off, a spirited game of Rainbow Tag, and the Returners’ Ceremony (after which they went to the park, as a COVID-safe restaurant option) A good way to end off the second to last day of camp!
