Terrific Thursday – June 27, 2014

As we look back on the day, our returning camper ceremony was a highlight. Our Kupugani girls sat down and showed maturity and respect while listening to one another give all the returners positive reinforcing comments. Before dinner, the girls took part in various camptivities–most popular were bench building and pool (as it has been on other beautiful warm days). Backwards Wednesday!

Started backwards day with the goodnight song and ended it with a delicious breakfast. Today returning campers led a ceremony to welcome the rest of the girls into the camp community! The ceremony included thoughtful poems, gifts, and a wonderful song. Its great to see how good of friends the campers have become with each other, and how much they genuinely care about each other. 🙂 Keep Up to Date Have access to incredible articles and keep up to date with all Camp Kupugani life here!

Yad SdrawkcaB! Woohoo for Backwards Day! We started out the morning with “Dinner” and the girls were all in their backwards clothes. After teams and “Breakfast”, we celebrated Ms. Natasha’s birthday in the rec hall! Camptivities today were full of fun and activities…especially the girls who got to create new camp benches in Arts and Crafts! Rounding out the day was our returning camper ceremony…we’d love to see everyone back next year!

Good Times!

What an awesome end to the day! We had a cooling, refreshing swim in the late afternoon, before a tasty dinner, then moved on to a cup stacking tournament, race car game and gaga tourney. We then had our touching ceremony recognizing our returning campers. To finish off we had a beautiful campfire as the sun set in the sky. We love Kupugani!

Ms. Sunshine definitely bought the heat today! After a slow start to the heat, it picked up over lunch and produced an awesomely hot day!! The pool was a big favorite today, with playing with Mico, and a diving contest making for great additional fun. Tonight we played Snake tail which is a very cool crazy game of tag, and then we had our traditional returning camper ceremony where 2nd year, 3rd year and 5th year campers were given their Kupugani mementos.
