Terrific Tuesday at Girls Camp!

We started off the day by waking up in the cabins after a good night’s sleep. Our early bird campers woke up at 6 am again, this time for a game of soccer. Everyone was up by 7 to shower, brush their teeth, and get dressed for the day before heading to morning circle and breakfast. Breakfast today was bagels and eggs. After breakfast, we broke into our cabin groups to take care of our chores. Then we met with our teams and did some reflective activities about our values, backgrounds, and pastimes. After we finished, we went back to our cabin groups and headed to our AM camptivity. Some of us went on a nature walk; others played 9-square or did a river walk. For lunch we had chicken sandwiches and then we returned to our cabins for siesta. After our short rest, the afternoon camptivities began! The activities included Crate Stacking, The River Walk, Gaga, Archery, and Canoeing. The campers took a break for La Tienda, then resumed activities with their cabins. After going back to the cabins to get ready for dinner, they came down to the porch to sing songs while waiting for dinner. For dinner we had enchiladas! They were a big hit among the campers. After dinner the campers did an activity called Diversity Show and Tell to learn more about cultures from all over the world. After that, we played some games outside and then went to bed. It was another wonderful day here at Camp Kupugani!

“My kids won’t stop talking about all the cool things they did, the friends they made, and how badly they want to return next year to Camp Kupugani.”

“Our kids have been growing, learning, and enjoying themselves at Camp Kupugani since 2007. The dedicated and diverse leadership and staff provide a safe, encouraging, well-rounded, and valuable experience for campers. Campers learn from and with each other how to value differences, create meaningful connections and thrive.”

“This camp is amazing and exceeded my expectations. I went for a Mother / Daughter Weekend to reconnect with my daughter and we did that for sure. Thank you Camp Kupugani! My daughter loved it so much we immediately signed up for the 2-week girls-only session for the following summer.”

I love camp because it is a safe place to be myself without being criticized for it.”
