Wild Wacky Wednesday

Some wild and wacky hair could be found at this morning’s circle. After morning circle, we ate a breakfast of bagels and cream cheese. After that, we did our morning chores, Yay Clean Camp! Then we went into our team. Today in teams, we learned “I” statements. After team time, we had Free to Learn, a child-directed time of adventure, then we came back up to top camp for lunch. After lunch, we had a relaxing siesta before an afternoon of camptivities. For first camptivity, some of us played gaga, and some of us went horseback riding. Then we had our La Tienda time. After La Tienda we had another camptivity, for this one we had canoeing/paddle boarding, and riverwalk. After this we got out of the water and headed up to the cabins to change and clean up before dinner. We had sweet and sour chicken, fried rice, mixed veggies, and apple crisp for dinner. After dinner we had a ninja tournament. Then the seniors had a night swim while the rest of us got ready for bed. Another great day!

Kupugani touches on all the core values and enrichment that we hope to instill in our [child]. My husband and I absolutely love Camp Kupugani. Our [child] gained immensely from camp.

Everyone…was just so, so personable, kind, and the kind of person I want
my [child] looking up to and spending time with.

[My daughter’s] face lights up when she speaks about camp, it’s a priceless experience.

I have never come in contact with such a wonderful group of people at a camp before. Everyone did an outstanding job, the camp was so organized, it was unbelievable.

She absolutely loves the camp, the staff, and all the friends she makes there. I consider Kupugani to be a big influence in helping her grow and expand her mind each summer.
