Fantastic Final Full Day Of Girls One!

Today, we started our day with a morning circle. Then, we had bagels for breakfast. After breakfast, we did our cabin chores and then we dismissed into teams. For teams, we did initiatives; we rotated through the wire maze, the wall, and the acid river. After teams, we had lunch--cold cuts. Then after lunch, we went back to the cabin for a short siesta before an afternoon full of camptivities. For camptivity one we had pool, rock climbing, a challenge hike, and slacklining. First Full Day of the Girls!

We started the day with a morning circle. Then we had bagels for breakfast. After breakfast, we completed our camp chores. After that we did team building. Then all camp gaga! Fun with a Brand New Session!

Yeah! First day of Girls 1! Campers arrived early this afternoon to sunny skies. We started with a potluck. Then a welcome circle introducing campers and staff. After the welcome circle, campers moved into the cabins and said goodbye to their families. We had some quality cabin time then we had spaghetti for dinner. Another Good Day at Camp

It was a lovely morning on Monday. Cool enough for a hoodie, but not cold. We started our day with our morning circle. After that, we had pancakes for breakfast. Then we headed off to do our camp chores before regrouping for teams. In teams, we did a couple fun activities--Ingredients for Friendship, and My Circle of Support. Day of the Queen Bee!!!

Thursday was a little different. We highlighted typical gender roles in society with Day of the Queen Bees, where females took the lead and were prioritized during the whole day. For breakfast, we had toast all the way from France, plus sausages. After that, we did our chores then dismissed into teams. Then we did a nature search and find activity. Wednesday Wacky Tacky Hair Day!!!

A variety of hairstyles could be seen at yesterday morning's circle. We had bagels for breakfast. After breakfast, we did our camp chores and then went into our teams. After teams, we had Free to Learn. After Free to Learn, we had lunch--hamburgers, made with locally raised beef. Yum! After lunch, we had Siesta, then camptivities. Happy Canada Day!

We had some liquid sunshine in the morning, but it didn’t slow down our fun. We started the day with our morning circle. Then we had bagels, bacon, and eggs for breakfast. After breakfast we did our camp chores. Then we split up into our teams for some fun team building and get-to-know-you games. We had a huge quick game of All Camp Gaga before lunch. Liquid Sunshine to Start Our Blended Session!

Woo hoo! The 2019 blended session has begun. Campers arrived early Sunday afternoon in pouring rain. We started with a potluck. Then a welcome circle introducing campers and staff. After the welcome circle, campers moved into the cabins and said goodbye to their families. We had some quality cabin time then we had spaghetti for dinner. We started off the day with our goodnight song. Then we had chicken and waffles for dinner. After dinner we had a Super Challenge Hike. The teams crossed the river on a two-wire bridge, trudged over treacherous terrain, then (attempted to in some cases) create a fire to cook a hot dog lunch, and made rafts. After returning from the challenging journey, the campers enjoyed a well-earned Siesta before camptivities. Terrific Tuesday – June 26, 2019

A quiet morning at the breakfast table this morning as the 14-year-old campers were off on their trip. Today we had muffins all the way from England for breakfast. After breakfast we did our chores and then we split off into our teams. Lots of team building today. After team building we had lunch--hot dogs. Then Siesta before an afternoon full of camptivities.
