Girls Campers Continue to Enjoy Camp Life
Hey there, camp parents! Today was another fantastic day at Camp Kupugani, and we can’t wait to share all the exciting activities your young ones experienced. From team-building exercises to thrilling outdoor adventures, our campers had a blast while learning valuable life lessons.
Morning Adventures and Learning
The day kicked off with our community circle, where we shared the Quote of the Day: “We realize the importance of our voices only when we are silenced.” – Malala Yousafzai. This powerful message set the tone for our morning activities. After a delicious breakfast of fluffy pancakes and turkey sausage, the campers dove into team-building exercises. They participated in activities like ”Awareness of our Bias”, “Willow in the Wind” and “Draw a Picture”. Afterward, they enjoyed some free time during recess before refueling with Sloppy Janes and sweet potato tots for lunch.
Afternoon Fun and Evening Excitement
Following a restful siesta, the afternoon was packed with exciting camptivities. Some campers tried their hand at bench building, while others conquered the climbing wall or engaged in recreational activities. Later, they had the chance to participate in social justice discussions, more rock climbing, crate stacking, or sand volleyball. The day’s adventures concluded with a mouthwatering dinner of Miss Natasha’s Sweet & Sour Chicken. But the fun didn’t stop there! The evening was filled with thrilling games of Zombie Tag and a cozy campfire complete with gooey s’mores. As the campers returned to their cabins, they reflected on their day and shared life stories with their cabinmates.
Wrapping Up Another Memorable Day
At Camp Kupugani, every day brings new experiences, friendships, and opportunities for growth. We’re committed to providing a safe and enriching environment where your children can learn, play, and create lasting memories. As we tucked the campers in for the night, we couldn’t help but wonder: what amazing adventures await them tomorrow?
